Special Investigation Unit (SIU) Services. Probe
employs staff dedicated exclusively to fraud awareness. We
evaluate claim files for suspicious activity, make
well-founded recommendations, and coordinate the referral of
possible false claims to the Department of Insurance Fraud
Division and appropriate district attorneys.
In a joint effort to fight fraud as powerfully as
possible, we make it a point to develop strategic
partnerships with our clients. We provide training on
fraud-related matters and help identify red flags that might
indicate potential deception. In addition, Probe
investigators—all of whom are employees, not
subcontractors—receive extensive training and ongoing
education, giving them the skill and competence to ask
discerning questions that lead to detailed answers.
Probe is one of only a few investigation companies in
California qualified to provide a compliant SIU to an
insurance company, third-party administration (TPA), or
self-insured.
